As a leader in culture, it’s important for Sprite to celebrate the people and places that it draws inspiration from. Not just during the commemorative cultural months. But always.

We partnered with two Youth Poet Laureates, Stephanie Pacheco and Mariam Dembéle, to highlight the beauty of Black culture from their lens. Stephanie and Mariam shared their perspective on the Black experience and illustrated what Beauty in Blackness means to them. They recorded two unique stories, and we crafted two videos that highlighted the diversity withing Black culture and the joy it inspires.

To further amplify their voices, we interviewed Pacheco and Dembéle to learn about their journeys to becoming poet laureates and what inspires them to continue to express their culture with their words.
